Trapezius Botox®️

Also known as Traptox, is a procedure in which Botox ®️ or other neurotoxin is injected into the trapezius muscle. The trapezius (trap) muscle is the large muscle group that runs from the base of the neck across the shoulders and down the upper part of the back. Neurotoxin injected into this area helps the muscles to relax and, in turn, improves posture, alleviates neck and shoulder stiffness/pain and creates a more contoured, elongated neck and more defined shoulder!

On average 80-100 units are needed for trapezius treatment.  Dose is dependent on individual requirements, but on average is 80-100 units. Average treatment cost is $960-$1200. 

Treatments can be done every 3-6 months. Results typically last between 3-5 months. 

You would not be considered a candidate for Neurotoxins if you have any of the following:

• Myasthenia Gravis
• Neuromuscular disorder
• Pregnant or breastfeeding
• Allergy to human albumin
