NovaThreads is the Face-Lift alternative! PDO threads help lift the skin, minimize the appearance of wrinkles and create a more youthful appearance. Additionally, as a result of the PDO thread being absorbed, the skin naturally produces collagen. These powerful threads give you instant lift and induce collagen production. So even after the threads dissolve, your face has produced collagen to keep your face lifted and youthful appearing. 

The actual threads dissolve in approximately 12 months. While the threads dissolve, your face is producing collagen. Therefore, your results last even after the thread has dissolved. Typically results are apparent for 2 years and even up to 3 years. 

PDO threads are a a non-invasive treatment to help loose and sagging skin. They are absorbable surgical sutures composed of polydioxanone. These sutures have been used in cardiac surgeries for over 60 years and are the safest materials to be used under the skin.

A beautiful and healthy face has a “V-shape”.  As we age, this “V-shape” diminishes or inverts. Novathreads create a frame to support the tissues and keep them in the “V-shape”. These threads are placed underneath the skin to lift the loose skin, which heals itself by naturally creating new collagen.

Your skin will be numbed for this procedure. During the treatment, a preloaded needle is inserted into the skin. Your injector then leaves the thread beneath the skin when removing the needle and gently lifts the skin. The threads are not visible after the procedure. The process is slightly uncomfortable and clients can expect to feel tenderness for about a week. There is no real downtime, but a client may expect some low grade swelling and possible bruising. 

We use PDO threads to lift sagging areas of the face. During your consultation, you and your injector will determine which areas you would like treated.

• Mid-Face (cheek lift, nasolabial fold lift, corner of the mouth lift)
• Lower Face (jaw sculpting, jowl lift, marionette line lift, sagging beneath the chin)
• Neck Lift

Please come without makeup. Do not take ibuprofen, aspirin or other similar medications for 7 days prior. Avoid alcohol for 2-3 days prior. 

Please book a complimentary consultation to determine your goals. Follow up appointments are 6 weeks after the service. Additional threads may be purchased if you desire even more lift after 6 weeks. 

We charge per area of the face

• Upper Face Lift $1200
• Mid-Face Lift $1200
• Lower Face Lift $1200

If you choose to treat more than one area, we reduce the cost to $1000 per area treated. Additional threads can be purchased after your appointment at $200 per thread. 

You may not receive PDO threads treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
